Some Dazzling news ...

I love to read Nationalgeographic…so , here are some of their news which dazzled me :

She was the legendary queen of Egypt who seduced two of the most powerful men in the ancient world. But a silver coin that went on display at a British university suggests Cleopatra's beauty may be Hollywood fiction.

On one side the coin shows the Egyptian ruler with a shallow forehead, long nose, narrow lips, and a sharply pointed chin (at left above). On the other, her longtime lover, the powerful Roman general and politician Mark Antony, is depicted with a large hooked nose and thick neck (right).

"The image on the coin is far from being that of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton,"

Roman writers tell us that Cleopatra was intelligent and charismatic, and that she had a seductive voice but, tellingly, they do not mention her beauty. The image of Cleopatra as a beautiful seductress is a more recent image.".However she looked in reality, Cleopatra's charm helped change the course of Roman history. :)

NASA released this new shot of a dying star— that was once similar to our sun.

Low- to medium-size stars like our sun usually end their lives as white dwarfs. Once most of a star's hydrogen has been converted to helium, the star enters the red giant phase, eventually expelling its outer material to form a nebula of stellar debris . The hot core left behind is a white dwarf.

Our sun will also likely burn out and become a white dwarf surrounded by a vivid nebula—but not for another five billion years.

So, relax and don't worry...hehehehe..You all have five billion years b4 u get blown up ..lol

I never thought that an image of a dying thing could be so beautiful ;)

A Girl's best friend...

Diamonds...

Diamonds are a unique resource, evoking beauty and eternal love..

You all know that most diamonds are used in drill bits and diamond tools. A small number are used for glass cutters and surgical instruments. Only the finest are used as gems.

Australia is currently the world's largest producer of diamonds. Most of these diamonds are low quality and used for industrial purposes.

About half of South Africa's diamonds are gem quality...The Finest..unfourtunatly, it is also the land of Conflict Diamonds...

Conflict Diamonds are diamonds illegally traded to fund conflict in war-torn areas, particularly in central and western Africa. Rebel groups in Africa used diamonds to finance their wars and unspeakable brutalities against civilian populations.

These Diamonds captured the world's attention during the extremely brutal conflict in Sierra Leone in the late 1990s. During this time, it is estimated that conflict diamonds represented approximately 4% of the world's diamond production. Illicit rough diamonds have also been used by rebels to fund conflicts in Angola, Liberia, Ivory Coast, the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Republic of Congo.

To tell you the truth..Conflict diamonds are my nightmares..its also my father's.

Every time i design a ring or a necklace , i pray to god and hope that none of my designs would ever hold a conflict diamond in them..with each design i give the world another reason to look for more diamonds.
Conflict Diamonds are also called ........BLOOD DIAMOND.

GO WATCH THE MOVIE ..it tells you a story about the real world...and i am sure its going to be ur nightmare to.

FUN TIME!!!!!!

I like puzzles, and I am so good at them, I'll teach you to play one of them.. its called "Cryptograms".
***
The Cryptograms are quotations in a simple substitution code .Each letter of the quotation have been replaced by another letter. A letter is always represented by the same letter throughout the code. For example :
***
CODED SENTENCES
XLPIP YIHMIHXIY
***
So, as you can see , the Cs are represented by X , the O's by L, the D's by P ..ect. There are a number of things to look for that will help you crack the code, here are some:
***
1- A one – letter word is Always A or I .
2- Some words occur over and over simply because they're so commonly written and spoken. Keep an eye out for THE , AND , NOT, YOU, and WITH. In addition, look out for words ending in ED , ING, and TION.
***

Try to Crack This quotations and tell me what it says:
***
QFL HCVPS PX V ANSWLCEZ K NCJVS; PQ XQVCQX QFL BPSZQL RNZ JLQ ZT PS QFL BNCSPSJ VSW WNLX SNQ XQNT ZSQPK RNZ JLQ QN QFL NEEPGL.

Enjoy :)
